Raffaella Cinti (aka Raffa) is in charge of client relations and the organization of our 2008 Beijing Games packages.  Born and raised in Ivrea, Italy, she got her first taste of the Olympics in 2006 when she was living in Torino and met up with the Ludus crew. She spent 2008 in Beijing working for Ludus. She is heading up the 2010 FIFA World Cup project for Ludus.

Raffa studied economics at a University of Parma (yes, the famous city of Parmesan cheese). She found herself liking Parma so much that she ended staying for an extra decade...not all of them studying!

From Parma, Raffa got the travel itch and took off to Mexico for a short trip that ended up being 8 months long. She traveled around Honduras, El Salvador and did an internship in Guatemala. Unfortunately, once the money ran out, Raffa returned to Parma to work for a software house as a consultant.

After those wonderful years in Parma, Raffa decided to move to Turin to be closer to her family. There, she worked a deskjob for Fiat in the financial department as credit analyst. Raffa joins the long line of Ludus-ites who just couldn't be at a desk any more.

We met and got to know Raffaella the year leading up to the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics and fell in love with her passion for life. She loves laughing and sharing emotions, experiences, meals and drinks with other persons. She is a natural fit for Ludus and will share another culture with our staff and guests. Raffa is Italian, but if you have any stereotypes about Italians; you won’t find them with her (except that she uses her hands a lot, says 'va bene' a lot, eats lots of pizza and is a good conversationalist).

Raffa is tied to the mountains and the sea and her location in Italy allowed her to enjoy both. She's only been in Beijing for a short time but is loving the Chinese culture and all that it has to offer. She enjoys skiing, snowboarding, hiking, running as well as sailing and scuba diving. Like most Europeans, Raffa speaks a plethora of languages (Spanish, English, Chinese, Italian, etc.).
