The hotels that we’ve chosen (3 and 4-stars) are located in the area between the Munich Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof) and the Theresienwiese (Oktoberfest Grounds). You’ll receive a hearty Bavarian Buffet Breakfast at each hotel and the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The 4-star-hotels have a bar and restaurant where the two 3-star-hotels don´t. The 4-star-hotels also offer more amenities and services.

Munich Oktoberfest Hotel Description: (please note that we use a selection of Central Munich hotels; this is just a sampling of some of the accommodations we offer during Oktoberfest):

• Alpen Hotel (4-stars):  Located about eight blocks from Oktoberfest (less than a 10-min.-walk), the hotel is less than a 2-min.-walk from the Main Train Station/Hauptbahnhof just off Schillerstrasse on a quiet side street. The hotel is designed with classic Bavarian Décor but is very new and modern at the same time. The rooms include Satellite and Pay TV and a mini-bar. The hotel’s public areas allow for Wireless Internet Connections. The hotel restaurant serves Bavarian Cuisine in the courtyard. The closest metro and train station are located two blocks away at the Main Train Station/Hauptbahnhof where there is access to both a few U and S-Bahn Lines.
• Hotel Tryp (4-stars): This is a nice hotel that’s part of the international hotel chain Solmelia. It is located a few blocks from the Oktoberfest Grounds off St. Paul's Square and Church. The hotel has Satellite and Pay TV, a Spanish Themed Restaurant, a Lobby Bar, an Internet Station, a small Fitness Room and a Parking Garage. The Closest Metro Stops are the Theresienweise and the Goetheplatz U-Bahn Stations. You can walk to Oktoberfest in about 4-5 minutes.
• Hotel Kraft (3-stars): Located on Schillerstrasse just eight blocks (a 6-8 minute walk) from the Theresienwiese (Oktoberfest Grounds), this is a standard 3-star German Hotel. It is a 7 to 8-minute-walk from the Main Train Station (the Hauptbahnhof) and a 5-6 minute walk to the closest U-Bahn Station-Sedlingertor. The rooms are decorated nicely and include cable TV and a safe.
• Hotel Uhland (3-stars): This is a nice, simple hotel in a historical building that’s designed in the Art Nouveau Style. It is located just one block from the Ring Road that goes around Oktoberfest (at the Theresienwiese Grounds). The closest metro stop is the Theresienweise U-Bahn Stop and the Main Train Station (the Hauptbahnhof) is only a 10-minute-walk away. This is a basic, small hotel that includes free WiFi Internet in the lobby (and in some rooms) and also offers free parking.
