Kim is Director of Communications at Ludus helping with our event sales and marketing. 

Kim has the distinction of being the only member of Ludus who started out as a client. Now Kim now enjoys leading tours.  2008 was her “Summer of Ludus” triple play with three events in three countries.  She started with the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, continued to the Summer Olympics in Beijing, and finished strong at Oktoberfest in Munich.  She enjoys meeting new people and exploring new places.

Though Kim grew up in a small town in Wisconsin, she is no stranger to traveling.  She traveled around the world in 2007, adding 17 more countries to her tally.  Biotechnology is her chosen profession, but traveling is clearly her passion.  She has been to Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia, and northern Africa.  South America is next on her list.

When she’s not traveling, Kim enjoys reading, scrapbooking, backpacking, downhill skiing and photography.  She currently resides in San Diego—close proximity to the ocean, the mountains, and the desert.

Kim is a big fan of mixed alcoholic drinks such as kalimotxo (a Basque drink of red wine and cola) and radler (German beer and lemonade).  When in Munich, however, she sticks to the REAL beer.
