Jessica Dailey
Vice President, Tours

At Ludus, Jessica is in charge of tours, itineraries and new events. She offers a great blend of business knowledge and passion for hospitality.

"Ludus offers me the opportunity to travel and experience cultures from around the world."

Graduating from the University of Arkansas, Jessica became one of the most storied runners in the powerhouse program’s history.

She earned NCAA 12 All American Awards, winning seven Southeastern Conference (SEC) titles in the process, and was voted team captain her senior year.

In 2000, Dailey set the Arkansas school record at 5000 meters (15:48). That same year, Dailey earned her Bachelors degree in Journalism (Advertising/PR). Her academic success, along with her community involvement and athletic prowess, won her the NCAA Woman of the Year for the State of Arkansas. It also won her the McWhorter Post Graduate Scholarship Award. Dailey was selected as a top 10 finalist for NCAA National Woman of the Year.

Also in 2000, Dailey qualified for the 5000 meters at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Sacramento and narrowly missed making the final.

After the Trials, Dailey and newlywed husband Adam moved to Barcelona, Spain, where she earned her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from European University. Dailey lived almost two years in Spain, where she also worked as Communications Manager for Pro Beach Soccer.

In 2002, Dailey moved back to Austin to become the Community Relations Manager for RunTex, Inc. During this time, Dailey managed Marathon Kids, and planned/coordinated many community running events. It wasn't too long before Europe was calling once again...

In 2003, Dailey left RunTex in order to begin Ludus with her husband Adam. At Ludus, she is charge of customer relations and she's the mastermind behind the tours and itineraries. Jess also serves as the surrogate mother for most of the Ludus staff. Jessica memorizes the public transportation and museum schedule of virtually every European city she goes to! Her outgoing and charming personality always makes her a favorite with clients as well as Ludus team members.

Jessica resides in Vancouver, Canada, where she lives with her husband Adam and their daughter Chiara Shay as they prepare for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games.
