Ian joined Ludus Sports in the Spring 2010 to develop and lead the company’s European Business Development and Operations with specific responsibility for London 2010 and Sochi 2014. He brings extensive Olympic and Paralympic Games experience including having served most recently as Division Director for Pr1me Strategies in Vancouver, Canada. Yes, that's right -- Ian is Canadian. But don't hold it against him -- Canadians are really nice people. Ian successfully led the creation and management of the firms specialized business unit that generated in excess of $15 million in areas such as hospitality, workforce accommodation, country house management and consulting activation. Ian has delivered programs at six Olympic and Paralympic Games including Montreal, Calgary, Atlanta, Salt Lake, Torino, and Vancouver. Ian’s Olympic journey began as a volunteer to the Montreal 1976 Summer Games and has progressed to be one of the world’s preeminent international experts into the development and management of Olympic Villages. Ian consulted to the Candidate and Bid city campaigns of Sochi 2014, Doha 2016, and the Moscow 2010 Youth Olympic Games. He has extensive experience delivering sponsor activation, hospitality and workforce accommodation programs for Atos Origin, Contemporary Security Canada, Bosco Sport, Presidential Commission of the Russian Federation, the International Olympic Committee, Sochi 2014, Volkswagen Group Russia, Megafon, GFS Foods, and others. Ian has director level experience in all facets of a corporate hospitality program including events production, ticketing, accommodation, transportation, logistics, and workforce management. contact Ian |
