Trixie joined the Ludus team in 2011, taking on the on the important role of Operations Coordinator. In order to give you the best experience possible, she spends time researching the area, finding accommodations, scoping out the restaurant options and planning all the nitty gritty details that make your vacation amazing!

Trixie was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison where she developed her love of being a Badger! In her third year at Madison, she was accepted to a study abroad program in London, England. She was fortunate enough to spend five months in London before backpacking through Europe for the remainder of the summer. In all, she traveled to 14 European countries, and she wasn't ready to stop there!

Trixie's passion for sports developed when she was very young. She has played volleyball, basketball, and soccer all her life and still continues recreationally today. In addition, she enjoys running, golfing, tennis, and the list goes on and on! While at UW she had the amazing opportunity to ski competitively for the UW Alpine racing team. After graduating with BA degree in communication arts and philosophy, she decided to move to Chicago. There, Trixie started her career in events as the retail marketing planner for Renewal by Anderson Windows.

More recently, Trixie spent the last three years in Vail, Colorado, where she focused on personal development while skiing and snowboarding every day! Although Trixie has relocated time and time again, she is ecstatic to stay put here in San Diego and is grateful to have found her wonderful new home with Ludus.
