Melinda Pitsaros joins Ludus Tours as an Account Manager to help manage the ever-growing list of U.S. Sport Federations. Melinda comes to us after a successful career working at resort hotels specializing in Convention Services and Event Planning.

Born and raised in southern California, Melinda is a true California girl but decided to follow her cleats and a soccer ball to attend the University of Arkansas. There, she played goalkeeper for the women’s Razorback soccer team. You could say this is where she got her first experiences with the combat sports she now works with! During her "southern hospitality" college years, Melinda began her career in the hospitality industry by majoring in Commercial Recreation and spent a summer completing a recreation internship at Hawk’s Cay Resort in the Florida Keys. Despite loving her time in Arkansas, Melinda decided it was time to get back to the sun, surf, sand and Mexican food of San Diego. Now back on the west coast, Melinda travels to watch her beloved Razorback football team and looks for any excuse to raise her arms and yell Wooo Pig Soooie!

Currently, Melinda’s biggest passion is sailing, which began on her first sail at 3 weeks old on her family’s boat. On any given weekend, Melinda will be your captain for a leisure day sail or work the jib in a regatta. She continues to upgrade her sailing experiences to skipper larger boats and soon she may be taking you on the trip of a lifetime sailing around the Greek Isles, a personal dream of hers. Opa!

Melinda is loving her job at Ludus combining her talents and passions and she is counting down the says until the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Who is ready to join her?
