Larkin joined Ludus in early 2011 as the Account Manager of Track & Field and Triathlon. Prior to Ludus, she worked at the Active Network, where she was a member of the PR team and focused much of her energy on creating buzz within the endurance community of Active.com.
Previously, Larkin worked for the U.S. Olympic Committee overlapping with the Beijing Olympics. Her favorite experience with the USOC was the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Chicago. The red carpet event welcomed generations of talented and deserving Olympians into the 2008 class, but the highlight of her night was meeting the entire 1996 Women's Gymnastics Team (aka her Olympic heroes as a kid).
Larkin has lived in Panama and Spain and enjoys any chance to blab in Spanish and explore new places. Her favorite vacation was to Greece where she saw the original Olympic stadium in Athens and traversed all of Santorini by four–wheeler. It was this trip that fueled her love and appreciation for international, world–stage sporting events.
It's safe to say she's passionate about sports–although favoritism will always lie with the Texas Longhorns, where she ran Division 1 Track & Field and Cross Country for four years. During her free time in San Diego, Larkin enjoys riding her new road bike, running around Torrey Pines or swimming at La Jolla Cove. She's a newbie in the triathlon world and is open to any swim and bike tips!
